Weight(less) – Weekly Photo Challenge

This is an art installation by Antonio Leano at the Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines.   For me the contrast of the bamboo forest reaching upward and the heavy rocks reveal both weight and weightlessness together.

Another work  that I believe shows both weight and weightlessness is this wood nymph by Daniel de la Cruz.   His nymph suggests her fairy-lightness in movement and in size despite her round shapeliness about to dip into a small pool of water.

I visited the museum last February 2015 and it is a fine place to find inspiration for one s soul and for photo challenges.   So please consider a personal visit Pinto Art Museum.

If you would like to join the photo challenge or see other contributed work for the weekly photo challenge please see Weight(less)
